Ten schools in Eastern Province will benefit from a supply of computers from government.
Provincial Education Officer, Allan Lingambe has confirmed to Breeze News.
Dr. Lingambe says that this will assist the schools to successfully conduct computer study exams later in the year.
He says that offices of the district education board secretaries were assigned to identify schools, which are in dire need of computers in order to hold exams.
The Ministry of General Education procured 6,000 computers, which it said would be distributed across the country.
Dr. Lingambe says that government wants to ensure that there is no challenge like what pupils went through last year, where lack of computers created serious problems.
