Government has started constructing a district hospital in Vubwi with phase one expected to gobble over 13 million Kwacha.
Provincial Medical Officer, Abel Kabalo says the construction of the hospital was expected to commence on February 20 this year but delayed due to late funding.

He says the contractors just moved on site and the construction is at foundation level.
And Dr. Kabalo says the construction of staff houses at Chikoma Health Centre has been completed at a cost of 145, 500 Kwacha.
