Breeze FM producer, George Luanja attended an International Course in Broadcast Journalism, focusing on Sport and Society, at Radio Netherlands Training Centre {RNTC} in the Netherlands.
The course was aimed at strengthening the capacity of broadcast journalists, and of the organizations they work for, to research and report on sports and its place in society in an effective and ethical way. The 3 months course focused on the use of multimedia (radio, internet and TV).
The course had 14 participants from 13 different countries. The countries represented were Bhutan, Egypt, Georgia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
