The Zambia Centre for Communication Programmes (ZCCP) and Breeze FM are currently running a project to contribute towards the reduction of HIV infections among heterosexual couples through reduced multiple concurrent partners, encouraging couple counselling and increasing access to condoms among couples.
In this project ZCCP and Breeze FM will encourage dialogue amongst couples on MCP as a way to increase the number of heterosexual couples accessing condoms and those who receive their HIV test results.
Under the project ZCCP will identify messages and conduct awareness campaigns in five chiefdoms (Chanje, Chikuwe, Mpezeni, Maguya and Madzimawe) all of Chipata District.
Breeze FM will produce and broadcast radio magazine programmes on the key messages and the awareness campaign.
The key messages will focus on issues of Multiple Concurrent partnership (MCP), couple counselling, condom use, VCT, low risk perception, gender inequality, inability to negotiate safe sex and cultural and traditional barriers.
The project runs up to January 2012.
Condolences
Breeze FM staff and management extend their deepest condolences to their colleagues at ZCCP, the Zambia Centre for Communication Programmes, on the passing of Executive Director, Mrs Grace Sinyangwe.
The remaining work on the Breeze-ZCCP project will be carried out in honour of Mrs Sinyangwe for her crucial role in promoting development communication in Zambia.
Very nice, i suggest Admin can set up a forum, so that we can talk and communicate.

Dear Colleague
Thanks for your useful suggestion. It is our intention to have an interactive site. We will follow up on your suggestion so that, indeed, we can all talk and communicate.
