Over five hundred million Kwacha allocated to upgrade Chipata-Chadiza and Katete-Chanida roads

Over five hundred million Kwacha rebased has been allocated to upgrade Chipata-Chadiza and Katete-Chanida roads.
Chadiza District Council Chairman, Richard Zimba confirmed this to Breeze News in Chadiza.
Mr. Zimba says that another ten million Kwacha rebased has been allocated to rehabilitate township roads in the district.
Mr. Zimba says that the local authority has signed a contract with China State Construction Engineering Cooperation Limited in conjunction with RDA, the Road Development Agency to carry out the works.
The council chairperson says that the contractor is expected on site by Friday this week, adding that the contract will run for 24 months.
He has commended Chief M’lolo for giving out a piece of land in his chiefdom where the contractor is camping.
