The ruling Patriotic Front PF party in Eastern Province has opposed the decision by President Michael Sata to transfer Eastern Province Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Mwamba to Western Province.
The party has requested President Michael Sata to rescind his decision.
According to a petition to State House signed by, PF, Vice Provincial Secretary, Enock Phiri, the party is saddened with the transfer of Mr. Mwamba and has pleaded with the head of State to rescind the move.

Mr. Phiri says the province needs Mr. Mwamba as PS because of his recent performance.
