A 22 year old man in Chipata apprehended in connection with the death of his 15 year old wife.

A 22 year old man has been apprehended in connection with the death of his 15 year old wife.
The incident occurred last Friday around 08:00 hours at Malima Village, Chief Madzimawe in Chipata District.
Eastern Province Police Commissioner, Grace Chipalila has confirmed.
Ms. Chipalila says the incident happened when the deceased, of Malima Village took some medicinal substance in an attempt to terminate her three months old pregnancy.
She died on the way to the hospital when she was being rushed by her husband Dickson Banda.
Dickson is being held by police to help with investigations while the body of the woman is in Chipata General Hospital mortuary awaiting post-mortem
