A 29 years old man of Chief Mwangala’s area in Chadiza District murdered in Lundazi.

A 29 years old man of Wele village, in Chief Mwangala’s area in Chadiza District has been murdered by unknown persons.
The body of Jackson Ngozo, who is believed to be a taxi driver, was found with an electric cable tied round the neck with two deep cuts on the chest and at the back of the head.
Eastern Province Police Commissioner Grace Chipalila says that Ngozo was first strangled whilst driving then beaten using unknown sharp instruments.
And Ms. Chipalila explained that police yesterday in Lundazi received a report of a suspected stolen vehicle from an unknown caller at Chimunyulu Compound.
She says that the police found an abandoned Toyota Corolla with blood stains on front seats and a number plate removed and hidden under the driver’s seat.
The body of Ngozo was found dumped at Chitungo cemetery along the Chipata-Lundazi road.
Meanwhile, police say they have instituted a manhunt for, James Bwalya Bolomusa, who escaped from Namuseche Prison after being convicted in the Stanbic Bank aggravated robbery case.
Ms Chipalila says that Bolomusa has been classified as a very dangerous criminal and that police have taken keen interest to ensure that he is rearrested to save his sentence.
