Meanwhile, Mr. Mulusa has expressed satisfaction with the works on the 250 kilometres stretch of the Great East Road from Luangwa Bridge to Mwami border, which have reached advanced stage.
And Mr. Mulusa has called on service providers in Chipata town to move their necessary cable lines and equipment quickly to pave way for the road expansion.
He also directed Chipata District Commissioner, Kalunga Zulu to arrange for a meeting as soon as possible to ensure that the issue is addressed before the contractor reaches the central business district.
And in response Mr. Zulu assured, Mr. Mulusa that a team had already been constituted and the company was being given necessary support for it to meet its deadline by 31st October 2015.
