About 14 thousand Kwacha is needed to connect power to a new shelter at Nabvutika Market in Chipata.
Nabvutika Market Chairperson, Ignatius Ngoma told Breeze News that the market committee members have already come up with a proposed budget of 14 thousand kwacha for the works.
Mr. Ngoma says preliminary works of wiring have already been completed at the new market shelter.
He says once power is connected to the market shelter, it will benefit 200 marketeers currently trading from the shelter.
Mr. Ngoma says the market committee members are yet to present the proposed budget to the council.
