Some teachers from Chiongo Primary School in Chadiza district have complained over lack of accommodation at the school.
Speaking to Breeze News, the teachers said that they live in villages while others are forced to rent houses far from the school.
The teachers have appealed to government to build schools in rural schools to improve their working environment.
And area councillor, Mathias Zulu says that the Ward has received 30 thousand Kwacha from CDF, Constituency Development Fund, which will be used to build a staff house at the school.
Mr. Zulu appealed to parents in the area to get involved in the project by helping to provide up-front materials for the construction works.
Chiongo Primary School has seven teachers but with only three staff houses.
