Political parties participating in the Malambo parliamentary by-election have all expressed confidence that they will win the seat.
Patriotic Front PF campaign manager, Dorothy Kazunga says that the ground is softened for their candidate, Jacob Shuma ahead of the poll tomorrow.
Ms. Kazunga says that Mr. Shuma is far the best candidate adding that people of Malambo had resolved to support the PF led by President Edgar Lungu.
And UPND vice provincial chairperson, Alexander Miti says the opposition political party stands a bigger chance of winning the parliamentary seat.
Mr Miti told Breeze News in Mambwe that his party is bubbling with confidence because electorates are bitter with how former Member of Parliament Maxwell Mwale has been treated by the ruling Patriotic Front party.
Mr Miti says that the UPND candidate, Peter Phiri has a traceable record of being a great performer when he was a councillor.
Meanwhile Florence Mayopa, an independent candidate says that she is not new to the area and is aware of the problems facing the people.
Ms Mayopa said that she was convinced that she would win the election because she had done enough campaign to convince the voters in Malambo.
