Authorities at Chadiza Day High School dismiss report that more than 40 thousand Kwacha rebased school funds were misapplied.

Authorities at Chadiza Day High School have dismissed a media report that more than 40 thousand Kwacha rebased school funds were misapplied.
Head teacher, Focus Phiri says that the statement is misleading because the school never used such money for administration purposes such as tea break for teachers.
Mr. Phiri also says that it is not true that parents refused to pay an annual increment of the school fees from 170 to 350 Kwacha rebased because of alleged abuse of money.
The school head teacher says that investigations carried out by the school have revealed that the media, who covered the meeting, were misled by one of the parents.
He says that although various issues discussed during the PTA, Parents Teacher Association meeting attracted huge debate, the issue of money was never discussed.
Mr. Phiri told Breeze News this morning that parents and teachers agreed to set up another date on which the issue of the school fund would be discussed.
