Breeze FM Station Owner and Managing Director, Mike Daka says that Eastern Province has the most well informed villagers in the continent.
Mr. Daka has attributed this to information that is being disseminated by Breeze FM and other media institutions in Eastern Province.
Mr. Daka says that is why the station has placed an emphasis on giving as much information as possible to the Eastern Community.
He was speaking when a team of officers from SDA, the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Mwami Hospital in Chipata visited the station on an education tour.
Mr Daka however, indicated that it is unfortunate that despite the media playing a vital role in the contribution of the welfare of the people, most of the support was coming from foreign countries.
He says that there is need for Easterners to show more support towards media institutions in the region so that they can thrive to serve the public.
And the managing director stated that Breeze FM has done well in its operations at international level.
He says this was evidenced by media personnel from various foreign countries that have been attached to Breeze FM.
