Caritas Chipata says that President Michael Sata should dissolve parliament and call for a general election.
Good Governance Coordinator, John Mthadziko Zulu has told Breeze News that the president should call for fresh elections because of high number of by-elections being witnessed in the country.
Mr. Zulu says that the high number of by-elections is an indication that the whole 2011 general election was marred with corruption.
And Mr. Zulu says that the delay to conduct by-elections is affecting development in the constituencies where seats have been nullified.
He says that it is better for the judiciary to find a way of speeding up the process of attending to matters that affect the vacant seats.
Meanwhile Mr. Zulu says that government did not tell the truth when it was campaigning in 2011 that it would facilitate the implementation of a people driven constitution.
Mr. Zulu has appealed to the technical committee to ensure that they print more copies of the draft constitution unlike the ten copies that government has asked to be printed.
