Caritas Chipata has appealed to political parties to tone down on tribal politics.
Good Governance Programmes Coordinator, John Mthaziko Zulu told Breeze News that politicians should promote unity and not division.
Mr Zulu says that it is painful that politicians only see tribalism in the opposition UPND, the United Party for National Development.
He says that politicians must know that all political parties have tribal elements.
Mr Zulu has however, commended political parties for the peaceful campaigns in Petauke Central and Malambo.
