Chadiza District Hospital can now start operating.

The construction of the long awaited sewer ponds at Chadiza district Hospital has been completed.
The district hospital could have been opened a long time ago but that the Ministry of Health was waiting for the contractor to finish putting up the ponds.
Chadiza District Medical Officer, Swali Fundafunda, confirmed that all the three ponds, which were under construction including the fence, have been completed.
Dr. Fundafunda told Breeze News in Chadiza that the only remaining works at the hospital is lying of concrete slabs on manholes and planting of Simba grass.
He further stated that the connection of sewerage pipes to the service blocks, maternity and children’s wards is also expected to be done soon.
