Chief Chanje says Kulamba traditional ceremony has not been postponed

Chief Chanje of the Chewa people has clarified that this year’s Kulamba traditional ceremony has not been postponed.
In a statement availed to Breeze News, Chief Chanje says that people should not be misled that the ceremony has been postponed because of the death of Chikuta Mbewe, who was senior Induna for Paramount Chief Gawa Undi.
He says that the ceremony will proceed as planned this Saturday, August 29.
Chief Chanje says that traditional leaders who will be attending the ceremony will start arriving in Mkaika, Katete district tomorrow.
And the traditional leader says that the late Chikuta Mbewe who died on Thursday last week will be buried tomorrow in Sinda district.
