Chipata Catholic Diocese Bishop George Lungu says he will not tolerate priests who are misbehaving

Chipata Catholic Diocese Bishop George Lungu says that he will not tolerate priests who are misbehaving.

The clergyman further says that he will not accept priests living in a pomposity life because it is against the teaching of God.

Bishop Lungu was speaking during the ordination of six deacons into priesthood at St Paul’s’ Lundazi Catholic Parish in Lundazi.

Bishop Lungu challenged priests to live a humble life by observing the way of the cross.

He said he was sad that some priests who were serving in the Catholic Church were living a bad life and warned them to be careful.

The prelate said the priests were there to serve the masses instead of enriching themselves.

Bishop Lungu ordained Clement Banda, Lawrence Kamanga, Vincent Mapiri, Justin Kanyanga, John Nyirenda and Gaston Sakala into priesthood.
