Chipata DC unhappy after not being invited for a road project launch

Chipata District Commissioner, Kalunga Zulu has expressed ignorance over the launch of township road works that was done by Chipata Central Member of Parliament, Reuben M’tolo Phiri on Monday.
Mr. Zulu told Breeze News that he is not aware that the launch was done because his office did not receive any invitation for the event.
Mr. Zulu wondered why the area MP and the council could not involve his office for such development, which is supposed to be monitored by government.
He explained that his office is a key holder in any developmental activities happening in the district as long as it involves public funds.
And when contacted for a comment, Mr. M’tolo Phiri said that it is unfortunate that the DC was not informed about the launch.
He says that he will talk to the CDF, Constituency Development Fund Chairperson, Philemon Mwale to correct the mistake and ensure that the DC is informed when there are such events
