Cholera is looming in Kamwala Compound of Chadiza district as residents have continued using plastic bags to answer the call of nature.
The residents, spoken to by Breeze News, say that they use plastic bags to answer the call of nature because the area does not have enough space to construct toilets.
The residents say that they have already started experiencing diarrhoea diseases, especially in children, because the used plastic bags are thrown carelessly.
They have appealed to government to construct them fee paying public toilets because only a few people with enough space have pit latrines.
