Construction of a district hospital in Vubwi has started.

Government has started constructing a district hospital in Vubwi with phase one expected to gobble over 13 million Kwacha.
Provincial Medical Officer, Abel Kabalo says the construction of the hospital was expected to commence on February 20 this year but delayed due to late funding.
Dr. Kabalo says that the district hospital will help the residents with quality health service delivery because the community is currently accessing health services from Malawi.
He says the contractors just moved on site and the construction is at foundation level.
And Dr. Kabalo says the construction of staff houses at Chikoma Health Centre has been completed at a cost of 145, 500 Kwacha.
He says both internal and external plastering has been completed with fixing of window and door frames done.
