Contractors working on road projects, which have stalled in Eastern Province, told to resume work.

Government has directed contractors working on various roads in Eastern Province to get back to work.
Eastern Province Minister Malozo Sichone has told Breeze News that contractors working on roads must not relax due to delay in payments.
Mr Sichone says that there is no need for contractors to halt works because of delayed payment, stating that they have the right to borrow money.
The minister says recently, the National Road Fund Agency, NRFA released funds to China State for the construction of Chipata-Chadiza road.
And Mr Sichone has also directed Sable Transport and Construction Limited to complete the tarring works on Chipata-Mfuwe road.
He says it is sad that the project which was started in December 2009 had not yet been completed by the construction firm.
