The Movement for Multiparty Democracy, MMD says that former Petauke Central Member of Parliament, Dora Siliya and other four members, who were stripped of their positions in NEC, the National Executive Committee still, have a chance to get back into the executive.
MMD national secretary, Muhabi Lungu says that the five can get back into NEC, as long as they follow the disciplinary measures.
Mr. Lungu maintained that the five still enjoy full rights as any other members, but should abide by the terms of the disciplinary measures and show that they are not above the party.
He explained to Breeze News this morning that the party stripped the five of their positions in accordance to the disciplinary measures of the party.
And Mr. Lungu has assured MMD members in Eastern Province that the party is still very strong.
He says that the MMD will be a strong contender in the 2016 tripartite elections.
Mr. Lungu explained that the MMD is not a one man party like other parties which depend on individuals.
The MMD National Executing Committee stripped Dora Siliya, Vice Presidents Michael Kaingu and Brian Chituwo and NEC member Lucky Mulusa including National Youth Secretary Tobias Kafumukache of their positions.
