Eastern Province will start receiving planting rains next month.
Provincial Meteorological Officer, John Londolo confirmed this to Breeze News.
Mr. Londolo however, says that some parts of Chama and Lundzi districts are already receiving some showers but not suitable for planting.
He added that the soil moisture will only be suitable for planting by mid-December.
Mr. Londolo says that the weather will continue being relatively warm until December.
