Erratic supply of fuel has hit some filling stations in Chipata causing panic among motorists.
A check by Breeze News this morning found that more than four filling stations did not have petrol and diesel.
This has put pressure on few filling stations, which have the commodity with long queues of motorists trying to buy the commodity.
And some owners of the filling stations attributed the non-supply of petrol and diesel to delays by OMC, Oil Marketing Companies to load their trucks in Lusaka.
They however, indicated that supply would resume as soon as their trucks are given the fuel by the OMCs in Lusaka.
Meanwhile some filling stations, which still have the commodity expressed confidence of meeting the demand because they had received additional stocks this morning.
