Five Patriotic Front Party officials in Chipata district suspended with immediate effect.

Three Patriotic Front PF District Officials in Chipata have been suspended with immediate effect.
Two other officials at Constituency level in Chipata Central have equally been suspended for undermining the party and bringing the name of PF into disrepute.
The suspended officials are District Chairperson, Ganizani Kakungu, Vice District Chairperson, Frank Mutale Bweupe and District Youth Secretary, Mubiana Mabebo.
Chipata Central vice Secretary, Esaya Zondani Chirwa and Constituency Youth Chairman Cosmas Mwanza have also been suspended.
This is according to suspension letters dated October 2nd signed by Provincial PF Chairperson, Lameck Mangani availed to Breeze News this afternoon.
The suspended district officials are accused of among other things, conniving with opposition political party leaders to undermine PF and celebrating the loss of the ruling party in the Chipata Central by-election.
The officials are also alleged to be linked to a recent press statement, which denounced the appointment of Lameck Mangani as provincial chairman.
The five officials have been given 14 days to exculpate themselves.
