The Immigration Department has arrested five Ugandan herbalists in Katete District for unlawful stay in the country.
Immigration Public Relations Officer, Namati Nshinka confirmed the arrests to Breeze News yesterday.
Mr. Nshinka says of the five arrested, three failed to produce documentation at the time of their arrests while two were found doing business without permits or authority.
Meanwhile the Kitwe Magistrate Court has convicted and fined a Chinese national 1,500 Kwacha or in default 6 months simple imprisonment for unlawful stay in Zambia.
Mr. Nshinka says that the Chinese national paid the fine and has been removed from the country via Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport.
