Food Reserve Agency advised to quickly pay farmers before rains start.

Government has been challenged to start paying farmers who sold their maize to FRA, the Food Reserve Agency before the rains start.
United Party for National Development Deputy UPND Provincial Publicity Secretary, Victor Mbuzi says that government promised that it will be paying farmers after two weeks of selling their maize, but the situation on the ground is different.
Mr. Mbuzi says that farmers are staying for months without being paid.
He says that delaying to pay farmers will negatively affect the next farming season because farmers will not have enough time to prepare.
