Government warns against irresponsible journalism.

The Independent Media Broadcasting Authority IBA has advised media houses countrywide to uphold the ethical code of conduct.
Breeze FM Staffer, Juliana Banda reports that IBA Director, Josephine Mapoma says that upholding the ethical code of conduct has become a big challenge in the media.

Speaking during the MISA Zambia Radio Indaba, 2015 in Lusaka, Ms. Mapomo stated that although IBA has not revoked any license or penalised any broadcast station for breaching the code of conduct, media houses need to be professional
And IBA says it has issued a total of 19 radio and 4 television media practicing licenses since its inception in 2013.
Ms Mapoma says the newly issued licenses have seen the increase in the number of radio stations to 80, while that of television stations has totalled 17, countrywide.
