Highcom Training Institute in Chipata directed to stop operating

Highcom Training Institute in Chipata has been directed to immediately stop conducting any training activities.
A in a letter to the institute by TEVETA, the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority director of standards, Cleophas Takaiza, Highcom has been ordered to stop offering any training activities because it neglected to comply with the provisions of TEVETA.
The letter dated August 10, 2015, says that Highcom has continued to operate without regard to the law governing TEVETA.
In another letter dated August 13, 2015, Mr. Takaiza has informed members of the public that Highcom is no longer registered with TEVETA.
He explained that the training college neglected to renew registration which expired in December 2011.
Mr. Takaiza, says that Highcom Training Institute can only offer training activities when it complies with law and renews with TEVETA.
