Illegal street vendors at Saturday market in Chipata told to move or face forced relocation.

Eastern Province Minister, Malozo Sichone has directed illegal street vendors at Saturday market in Chipata to stop trading on the road.
Mr. Sichone, who toured the market, says that government allowed people to trade on the streets so that they have a source of income before government constructs new markets.
He says that this does not mean that people should be trading on the road, as it is dangerous because a serious accident may occur.
Mr. Sichone directed the traders to move behind the drainage system of the road failure to which he will remove them from the street and take them to a place where they will not even be able to sale.
The illegal vendors have previously brushed off fears of accidents, stating that they do not fear death as accidents will always happen.
