Lack of building materials in Vubwi district slows down some government projects under construction.

Some contractors in Vubwi district have failed to meet deadlines for their projects due to non-availability of materials in the district.
Affected projects include those under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
This is according to a report availed to the media by Provincial Agricultural Officer, Dr. Obvious Kabinda.
The report indicates that the construction of an office block in Vubwi remains at 15 per cent despite the targeted completion date being April 2015.
The report further indicates that the poor road network in the area is posing a challenge to the ongoing construction works in the district.
Over 100 thousand Kwacha was allocated towards the project.
