Minister Malozo Sichone says gender based violence needs change of mind set

Government says that Gender Based Violence cannot be tackled without the change of people’s mind-sets.
Eastern Province Minister, Malozo Sichone said this at the launch for the HE FOR SHE campaign by President Edgar Lungu in Petauke district yesterday.
Mr. Sichone thanked the head of state for launching the campaign to stop the GBV cases in the district and the whole country.
He stated that the pilot project would be of great use to the Eastern province because the region has been recording a lot of GBV cases.
Mr. Sichone further indicated that it was good that that the government had involved the chiefs from all over the country to help in reducing gender based violence cases and early marriages.
