Ministry of Health in Eastern Province dismiss administering anti Ebola vaccines.

The Ministry of Health has dismissed reports that it intends to administer anti Ebola drugs during the Mass Drug Administration exercise next week.
Provincial Medical Officer, Abel Kabalo has further described as misleading, statements that the two drugs, which will be administered have serious health complications.
Dr. Kabalo told Breeze News that Albendazole and Diethyl Cardamazine are more like anti-biotic drugs meant to prevent future development of Elephantiasis

He says that people should not be worried and advised them against shunning the exercise.
Meanwhile the Ministry of Health has targeted to vaccinate about 300 thousand children during this week’s Child Health Week.
He says that the ministry is administering Vitamin A supplementation for children from 6 months to 5 years and de-worming tablets to children from 12 months to 5 years.
