MMD denies losing entire executive to PF in Lundazi district

Movement for Multiparty Democracy, MMD has denied reports that its entire district executive committee in Lundazi has defected to PF, the Patriotic Front Party.
Provincial MMD Chairperson, Jacob Mwanza explained to Breeze News that only five officials in the district defected to the PF.
He says that all MMD structures in Lundazi have remained intact.
Mr. Mwanza says that the district chairperson and other committee leaders have continued to work hard and ensure that the party grows.
He also added that none of the MMD councillors defected to the PF, a sign that many people still believe in the former ruling party.
Mr. Mwanza says that he understands that times are hard and it’s easy for people to be attracted to parties that offer money and other financial benefits.
