MMD Solwezi MP Humphrey Mwanza has died

Opposition MMD, Movement for Multi-Party Democracy Solwezi West Constituency Member of Parliament Humphrey Mwanza has died.
Mr. Mwanza died this morning in the UTH, University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka after a short illness.
Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini announced the death of Mr Mwanza in parliament this morning.
Dr. Matibini regretted the death of Mr Mwanza saying the House would greatly miss his contributions during parliament debates.
Mr Mwanza is the second Member of Parliament to die in a space of two months after the death of Patriotic Front PF Member of Parliament for Bangweulu Chifita Matafwali who died on 21st May, 2015.
Meanwhile one of Zambia’s most prominent medical practitioners Dr. Francis Manda has died.
The renowned Urologist died in the early hours of the morning at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka.
Outspoken and charismatic, Dr. Manda would occasionally spark controversy with his take on numerous social and political subjects.
