MMD youths in Eastern Province withdraw support for Dr. Nevers Mumba

Movement for Multi-Party Democracy MMD youths in Eastern Province have completely withdrawn their support for their president, Dr. Nevers Mumba.
Provincial Youth Chairperson, Chembe Daka says that the youths have instead resolved to support PF and republican president, Edgar Lungu.
In a statement availed to Breeze News this morning, Mr. Daka has accused Dr. Mumba of failing to uphold principals and fundamentals under which the party was formed.
He says that on the other hand, President Lungu’s leadership style accommodates every Zambian.
And Mr. Daka has advised critics of Mr. Lungu’s led government to seek audience with him rather than condemning everything that he is doing.
He also says that it is important for Zambians to respect the office of the president as it will assist to paint a good image of the country.
And Mr. Daka has appealed to the head of state to appoint more youths and women to decision making positions across the country stating that this will make him more popular.
