More relief maize to be given to starving villagers in Lundazi district.

Lundazi district has been allocated with another 10, 000 by 50 kilograms of relief maize.
Lundazi District Commissioner Janet Palukani told Breeze News that the allocation is meant to caution food insecurity in the district.
Mrs. Palukani indicated that the District Disaster Management Committee is yet to seat and agree on how the distribution exercise will be carried out.
She further indicated that old and disabled people are among the beneficiaries earmarked.
Mrs. Palukani revealed that Caritas Chipata has been engaged to distribute the relief maize to starving villagers.
She further charged that her office is doing everything possible to embark on the distribution exercise before the onset of the rains.
