Government has commissioned the electrification of Nsingo Primary School in Luangeni Constituency of Chipata district.
And Energy Deputy Minister Charles Zulu has urged people of Luangeni Constituency to guard the newly commissioned power project at Nsingo Primary School.
Speaking during the commissioning of the project, Mr Zulu explained that the installation consists of newly acquired insulated fibre cables, which should be protected from vandalism.
Mr Zulu says that the power project was just one of government’s programmes to foster development in Luangeni Constituency.
And delivering a vote of thanks, a pupil at Nsingo Primary School Mwaka Musiyane says government has demonstrated its commitment to deliver development through the electrification project
She says the connecting of Nsingo School to the national grid will help pupils to study even more and learn computer lessons with easy.
Mwaka however, appealed to government to send more teachers to the school as the current 12 teachers were not enough.
