Nsingo Primary School is leading with the highest number of early child marriages in Luangeni Constituency.
School Head Teacher Rodgers Moyo told Breeze News that the school starts recording these marriages as early as when pupils reach puberty.
Mr Moyo says most children at the school start getting married when they reach grade five and that efforts to end this trend have failed despite engaging local leaders.
He says that the number of children attending lower grades is encouraging, but it reduces when pupils start reaching grade five.
Mr Moyo says that according to statistics, more and more pupils stay away from school especially during examination periods despite good efforts from the teaching staff.
He says last year the pass rate at grade nine was 60 percent while the pass rate for grade seven stood at 70 percent.
