A comprehensive analysis of results on the failed referendum on the enhanced bill of rights shows that over 278,000 people in Eastern Province voted Yes.
Meanwhile, slightly over 79,000 people voted No.
This is according to a comprehensive analysis which shows referendum results in each constituency posted on the ECZ Facebook page three hours ago.
Petauke Constituency had the highest Yes votes with over 28,400, while Vubwi Constituency had the lowest with 4,900.
On the other hand, newly created Kaumbwe Constituency had the lowest No votes with 1, 385, while Petauke Central Constituency had the highest No votes with 6, 480.
However, the analysis does not show the number of rejected votes in the constituencies.
Eastern Province has 18 constituencies.
