People in Petauke district have expressed mixed feelings over calls to introduce contraceptives and condoms in schools.
Speaking to Breeze News, Elina Mbewe of Tasala Compound says introducing contraceptives and condoms in schools will encourage immoral behaviour.
She has appealed to government not to tolerate the idea but find other means of curbing unwanted pregnancies among pupils.
And some pupils at Petauke Boarding School are against the idea of introducing contraceptives and condoms in schools.
The pupils have noted that they are sent to school to learn and not to have sex.
