Kabvumo Ward Councillor, Gabriel Mvula in Chadiza district has dismissed reports that inputs under conservation farming were only given to PF, Patriotic Front Party supporters.
Speaking to Breeze News, Mr. Mvula says that they targeted vulnerable but viable people and not cooperatives leaders and relatives as alleged.
The civic leader has appreciated the government for distributing the inputs on time and has urged the people not to resell the fertilizer to avoid hunger.
Meanwhile Mr. Mvula has expressed sadness over the maintenance works being carried on Kabvumo road.
He says that he is not impressed with the work and has asked government not to pay the contractor the remaining amount until they re-do the works.
Mr. Mvula says that he is particularly concerned about the poor workmanship carried out on the Kabvumo-Khomani stretch of the road.
