People with disabilities in Mambwe district cry foul.

People with disabilities in Mambwe district have continued to complain of being left out in developmental programs due to political reasons.

District Chairperson Walesi Chulu says that members of his organization are being sidelined because they are viewed as UPND, United Party for National Development sympathizers.

Speaking to Breeze News through a telephone interview, Mr. Chulu alleged that disabled people have been left out from relief food distribution and FISP, the Farmer Input Support Programme.

He stated that some members of the ruling party were misleading the provincial administration that his organization is anti-government.

Mr. Chulu has appealed to government to ignore the lies being perpetuated by some disgruntled people, stating that government has an obligation to assist everyone despite their political affiliation.
