phase one of the two projects is expected to be completed in July this year.
Provincial Medical Officer, Abel Kabalo confirmed to Breeze News today, the projects which are being undertaken by Wankong and China Jiangxi Construction companies.
Dr Kabalo says that the completion of phase one of the two projects will determine when phase two will start.
He says that he is hopeful that the construction of the hospitals will decongest other existing health centers in Nyimba and Chipata Districts.
Government has embarked on the construction of the district hospitals across the country as part of bringing health services closer to the people.
