He said that Patrick, who was using a taxi, Toyota Sprinter registration number ALE 7787 was last seen with Josias Phiri, 30, of Koswe Village in Chief Chanje’s area.
He said that when the matter was reported to police, some officers went to look for the two men at both their houses but did not find them.
Mr. Nawa further explained that Josias Phiri was seen on Friday and was immediately reported to the police and later apprehended at his house in Magazine compound.
The Deputy Police Commissioner said that Josias was later interrogated by the police and admitted having killed Patrick Phiri because of owing him 100 Kwacha.

Mr. Nawa says the body was retrieved from the 15metres deep borehole by a combined team of police and fire brigade officers.
