Police in Chipata recover K55,000 from K126,000 stolen from Mount Meru Filling Station

Police in Chipata have recovered 55, 000 Kwacha out of the 126, 260 Kwacha from the suspects in the Mount Meru Filling Station robbery.
Eastern Province Deputy Police Commissioner, Patrick Bili has confirmed to Breeze News.
And Mr. Bili says that police have charged the three suspects involved in the robbery case, which happened on Monday this week.
He says that Chief Inspector Felix Muntanga from Livingstone Protective Unit and Godwin Inambao a driver of Livingstone have been charged with theft while Mount Meru Filling Station Manager Rosala Theresa Sandu has been charged with theft by servant.
Meanwhile Mr. Bili has warned police officers against committing offences that were with criminal nature.
He says police officers committing crime will be dealt with severely like any other suspects.
