The United Party for National Development UPND has promised to improve the lives of Zambians if voted into power on August 11.
National Chairperson for Youth and Sports Development Michael Chuzu says that the UPND has a ten point plan that critically addresses all areas of development.
Speaking during Political Hour Programme on Breeze FM this morning, Mr. Chuzu alleged that the agriculture sector has been mismanaged while feeder roads have been neglected by government.
He says the UPND will ensure that farmers are given inputs on time while payment to farmers selling various crops to government will be made promptly.
Mr. Chuzu says that the UPND will also promote growing of other crops apart from maize, create more jobs and ensure that they reduce the gap between the rich and the poor.
And Mr. Chuzu defended UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema against reports that he amassed his wealth at the expense of many Zambians who lost their jobs through the privatisation and disposal of parastatal companies like ECU, the Eastern Cooperative Union.
He says that Mr. Hichilema played a very clean role in the privatisation programme, stating that this was among the reasons why he is the best man to lead Zambia for the next five years.
Mr. Chuzu also assured Zambians that UPND will not take any vengeful decisions against anyone who does not support the party if they win the elections.
