President Edgar Lungu intervens in land wrangle

President Edgar Lungu has assured about 1000 families staying on the land which is on title in Nsole area of Vubwi district that government is doing everything possible to resolve the land wrangle.

President Lungu says he is aware of the land wrangle between the local people and a known person, who obtained title deeds for the land.

He says that he will engage the Commissioner of Lands to investigate how title deeds for the land were issued.

Breeze FM staffer, Naomi Mwimba reports that the president was speaking yesterday when he addressed scores of Vubwi residents at Vubwi Primary School.

And President Lungu counselled PF candidate for Vubwi constituency to be respecting people.

The head of state says he has received numerous reports that Margaret Miti never used to listen to people when she was area MP and does not get along with PF Vubwi campaign chairperson, Samuel Mukupa.

He told off Ms Miti at a public rally that she should change her altitude and start respecting other people because they are the ones who elected her.
